Hey ladies and gents. Wanted to share my back story, give yall my goals and hopefully find some active members to add me so we can motivate eachother through our goals.

My name is JC and im a 31 yr old father of 2 girls (2 and 7). I have always been a big dude, but an athlete. Played baseball my whole life until a career ending torn labrum and rotator cuff when i was in college. I kept my weight between 240 and 250 through my early 20s, until i had my 1st kid at 23. Over the 1st year, i gained 35 pounds and was 285. My girlfriend left me and threw my life into shambles. How did i cope? I worked out...obsessively and eating healthy became a lifestyle. over the next year, i dropped to 206 lbs and was at 13% body fat. Everything was great. I had so much energy, was out dating girls i never thought were in my league, and had the energy to keep up with my 2.5 yr old when she was with me. I started a new career as a field service tech for the cable company, met my now fiance and we have a 2 yr old together. Always being on the road and crunched for time for work, i resorted back to eating fast food, energy drinks and not going to the gym. I stepped on the scale a few days ago to see 278lbs. Gained it all back! Absolutely disgusted with myself and the fact i cant keep up with my kids and can barely tie my shoes or talk without huffing and puffing, i decided to make a change. I am back here, and determined to get my life back.

So if anyone read through and thinks we can help keep eachother on track, please feel free to add me!

Hi JC! Life has a way of letting us forget about taking care of our bodies - with that said, glad you are here! I am always looking for friends on here that are real, actual people with real, actual lives. Haha. I'm FranksSandwich, I live in DC... and after years of just slow, constant weight gain and honestly, drinking too much, I am here to try to turn those things around before my health really suffers. Nice to meet you! Please feel free to send me a friend request. Either way, you CAN do it again, for yourself and your girls. :)
