Depressed About Summer/praying for Fall

Okay, I've never loved summer. It's hot, and all over, bikini tops, short shorts. Hah! I haven't worn shorts out in over 10 years. And the last time I tried on even a basic two piece, I nearly vomited from horror! Oh no no no!
So...yeah, not at my target physique yet ppl, can you tell? lol!
Just feeling like I can't wait for summer to be over. I wanted to hit a size 8 by end of august, I'm still a size 12. Which isn't as bad as it used to be but I've been stuck on a crappy plateau for about 5 weeks now. Ugh... depressed. I know I need to step up the work outs more again but im pms-ing big time and I'm playing hungry hungry hippo in my kitchen. And I'M THE HIPPO:sad: .
I want summer to be a blast. I wanna wear a bikini sometime before I die. and even if it wasn't this summer, I want to move down sizes. I've never been below like an 11... I think I was a 10 in highschool at some point...bah!
I want to feel normal looking. I want to feel skinny. I know, I'm supposed to want to be healthy and fit and not care , but eff it! I have a 32 inch waist and I want a 26 inch waist! YES DAMN IT! I'm throwing a no holds barred TEMPER TANTRUM and you know what? I don't care who knows it!

I want to be skinny. I want this plateau to end. I want the lbs in water weight to come off. I don't want to sweat when I walk outside because I had to over dress or over layer to fell comfortable. I want a pair... of ... blue... denim... short...shorts!

I want a short slutty dress that makes other women call me a ***** in their heads for no reason!
I want a baby unicorn!

Bah!

    I think you're being too tough on yourself. I do that sometimes too.

    I've been on my journey for 18 months, and haven't lost anything for 7 months...even though I bust booty in the gym 4-5x a week. I still have about 50# to lose.

    Look in the mirror, and try to find a few things that you like about your body. In January my friend took a picture of me in yoga pants at Old Navy and I realized I finally had a booty, and that I had defined hamstrings and quads. I take monthly progress pics so I can see things like ab definition and the fat melting off my back. I'm a size 14, and I have been for AGES. I bought a tankini, and I wear it all the time. My last suit was an old lady suit with a SKIRT. I wear shorts all the time.

    You want the water weight to come off? Drink LOTS of water. I drink close to a gallon a day. My trainer drinks closer to 2 gallons a day ( he has 9% body fat, and looks amazing).

    Hitting a platue is normal, this happens to everyone. Just keep on trying, keep on moving forward. I was stuck at the same weight for almost a year, did not do anything different and then lost a few more pounds. Are you measuring your food, or just guesstamating. I know one thing for sure, if you pack it in you will never reach your ideal weight.

    Ahh, the Hormones!!! Loved your rant. Been there, done that. One bit of advice (from someone who was formerly 345 lbs, now 184 thanks to gastric bypass): every time I hit a plateau, I eat a small steak. Nothing else (sometimes some mushrooms)... just ... steak. It seems to give me an energy blast the next day (iron deficient?) and I'm not sure why. And the scale always moves down in a day or two. Weird. Just a suggestion. :) Have you seen your doc for bloodwork lately? Maybe iron or B12 is low? Not that I'm any expert. :)

    I am not sure what you're fussed and ranting about. I've just taken a look at your body picture, and if it looks like you now, how can you say all this? You're being too hard on yourself.

    I'm kinda confused too because you look just fine on your profile pictures!

    As for the waist, some women are just wider than 26 inches, nothing you can do about it (I doubt I could get below 32 myself).
