Mobile vs desktop---I'm doing something wrong, can someone help?

I'm a little confused, and I figure I'm doing something wrong, but, for the life of me, I can't figure out what.

Logged my breakfast on desktop, it's not showing up on my mobile app. (android)

Logged my lunch on mobile, it's showing up in the app, fine, but not when I log into the website.

Logged my exercise, again, on mobile, showing up fine there, but not on the website.

SURELY I don't have to log everything twice? (once on mobile, once on website)??

What am I doing wrong?

Nope. Same username and password, double checked.

Could it be related to enhanced security MFP is implementing due to data breach? I have been having issues in other areas of MFP (and I see others are, as well).

I think this is due to the technical problems MFP are having - my (Android) app and website suddenly aren't syncing to each other and I've been using MFP for over 430 days. Also I'm unable to upload a new photo due to "server error", and my app will no longer sync steps/calories with Google Fit. All these problems started the day I changed my password due to the security breach so **hopefully** in a couple of days it'll be sorted. I don't want to uninstall/reinstall my app as it has data that hasn't synced to the website so might be lost in the process.

    On the desktop.

On the mobile app did you select sign in instead of sign up

    Yes, absolutely.

I wish I could help, but I have used MFP for over 5 years and could only tolerate the mobile app for about 2 days of that time...I found it buggy and impossible.

Have you tried logging out of both the website and app, shutting down your laptop/desktop and your phone, and restarting both?

I agree with posters above, I have had trouble of several sorts including fitness device sync, unable to log foods in certain ways that usually work on the desktop (i.e. saved meals) and it all started when I changed my password as suggested. I have logged out and back in on both desktop and mobile but still wonky.

Patience! (just like weight loss right?)

@HarryFMudd try deleting the app on your phone and sign back in again, if this does not work then try synchronising them both again

Done that twice, to no avail.
