Calorie adjustment

My first time around, I lost 70 pounds on MFP. I subsequently gained it all back, and then-some. Stop me if you’ve heard this one before... I feel as though this time, I’m much more committed and confident than the last... 35 down, more to go... my question regards a a gradual reduction in calories over time. If I remember correctly, and at every 10 pounds lost, or so, MFP lowered your calorie intake amount. I’ve been at the same amount of calories in since I’ve changed my rate of weight loss to 2 pounds per week. Does MFP gradually reduce your suggested calorie intake number as you loose weight still, or has the formula for success changed through feedback and research?? Let me know if anyone has a clue. Thanks. Best of luck to all.

It has never automatically done it for me, but it would prompt me to update my goals after losing 10 pounds0

Are you currently at 1500? The lowest goal MFP will provide is 1500 for men and 1200 for women.
MFP seems to set goals in increments of 10 Calories. If your recalculated goal has not been reduced by 10 Calories, then an adjustment might not be shown yet.
Also, if you re-run your goals before you have lost 10 pounds, the weight counter at the re-run time is reset, so you have to lose 10 pounds since the last time you re-ran your goals.0
