hello my babes,
so, I have a four month break coming up ((long time I know)) and it's basically ((HOPEFULLY)) where I am going to get my life together - new term new me kind of thing, you know?
Well, I'm planning my meal preps. I'm 19, female, 5ft8 and between 10 and 11 stone, it fluxates all the time and my whole life has been in that ball park. I want to start weight training in the gym because normally I'm all about that cardio life.
How much protein to carbs should I be consuming per day? Like how man grams of protein is good?
Thanks x

0.8g of protein per lb of bodyweight is a good place to start, 0.3-0.6g of fat and the rest carbs

I agree. Protein should be over 100g (for your size, and activity level, I would not go below 70g if you can help it) and fat over 50g. You can then add more fat, more protein, or some carbs.

Carbs can be even with protein in terms of macro percentages, well over protein (doubled or tripled), or right down to zero, although some prefer carbs to stimulate higher insulin because it is believed to help speed up muscle growth. Higher protein is thought to help for a similar reason.

I would add, if you are going to start weight training, use the above link to follow a structured program to maximize performance and gains.
