New to MFP...

Hi everyone. I'm new here and could use a few friends for inspiration, tips, motivation, etc...
I used to be very much in shape and never had a weight problem until I had my one and only child 15 years ago. I gained 70 pounds and since being a single mother and working full time the thought of dieting and exercise was put way on the back burner and it DID NOT just come off easily like so many I have seen. I will eat well maybe exercise and lose some weight only to have it come right back. This has been my life for almost 16 years. I AM NOW ready I feel to lose at least 55 maybe 60 lbs of weight that has been literally slowing me down.
