Hello everyone, I am Casara . If anyone knows how difficult it is to lose weight and keep it off it is me. My struggle took off as soon as soon as I entered adulthood. At 18, I lived on my on eating fast food daily. I managed to put on 40 pounds the more I worried about my weight the more I ate the bigger I have become at 220 pounds. I knew I had to do something. So I changed what I eating fried food to baked soda to water, and chocolate to apples. Still I am a 192 pounds still going up and down. I have been on MFP for 2 weeks I have lost 4 pound. I work out hard at the begin but I am found it hard to do it alone. Can anyone help me in this battle? What group can I join to help me eat right and workout? My goal is slow and steady one pound at a time until I reach 140 pounds.

Welcome,
I think these two links are extremely helpful and can help you get the most out of MFP:
http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1234699/logging-accurately-step-by-step-guide/p1
http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1080242/a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants/p1
The first covers accurate logging and some of the tools in MFP to help you make things easier. The second discusses caloric needs and setting goals. These two posts completely changed [a friend's] MFP experience and helped [them] be much more successful, so I hope they do the same for you.
For more friends check out these threads which ended up gaining a lot of traction.

Welcome Cesara! What a beautiful name!
Sounds like you are making some good changes, remember this should be a long term lifestule change, so don't be too strict in the beginning I am sure you can make it to 140 with some effort and patience0 -
Thank you both for your encouragement, help and welcome.
