I love Throwback Thursdays and thought it would be nice to see some of your throwbacks.

I have never been a princess or a delicate flower. I'm more the "grab the bull by the horns" kind of girl. This is around 1990 or so (and my mom made that cat jersey for me - how cool is it?)

It would be a lot cooler if this had been a banana! I also was sporting a sweet mullet.9 -

Nice! Did you turn it? 12:00?
Not that attempt. IIRC, it was a drop, 15 degree angle and I think I got a 40 degree angle out of three attempts. That was a monster of a caber with almost no taper. Took me another couple of months of practice to finally turn that caber.SuperOrganism2 wrote: »xFunctionalStrengthx wrote: »Doesn't seem all that long ago. But, my first Highland Games in 2004
This is so awesome!
Thanks. I enjoy the picture I posted because that was my first time competing ever. This picture is my favorite, and from when I competed a year or two later near Toronto.
I have a sequence of photos from the different competitions I did that kind of put it all together in sequence.6 -

Throwback only about 6 years ago.. when I ran my first mud run (I'm in the middle) and then shortly after ran my first 1/2 marathon. These were life changing races for me. Taught me that I really can do whatever I set my mind on and the first times in my life that I was truly was proud of myself.
