Hi all,
I've recently decided to do 2 smoothies a day to replace breakfast and lunch! It's going great, I prep a full weeks worth of meals in the freezer then take out as and when I need them. I have 5 kids so I genuinely do not have time to eat nice food for breakfast and lunch so drinking it on the go is working really well. I'm not reaching for toast or snacking on crap and I've lost weight, gained energy etc!

But I'm just wondering if anyone has other recipes that would be freezer friendly?

I've recently watch a video, where this person makes a ton of bison burgers and rice. He then takes 1 burger, mashes it with a fork, adds some rice mashes it again, and then adds from chicken broth and mashes it together again. It only took him about 1 minute to do that. He also freezes it. Here is the video.

Having kids should be an incentive to eat properly, imo.

Well thank you both for taking time out to help me! @jflongo you must have little to be doing with your life in order to type that reply, with video too! And @kommodevaran I take it you have kids and totally understand how easy it is to fix up various meals at certain times of the day!
I did not ask for advice on my life just recipes... But thanks for taking the time to type a reply...

Why can't you and your kids eat the same meals? It doesn't need to be overly complicated...

Are you looking for sweet or savory recipes? Do you add supplements?

Freezing fruit portions in advance helps. If you are going savory, those pre-measured pouches of tuna or salmon, blended with cottage cheese can be a yummy cold "soup". I add dill. I haven't tried them pre-made though.

IMO, just about anything you can eat as a meal, can be put in the Nutribullet, it's the liquid that has to be adjusted to get a smooth blend. Just don't put hot liquids in there.

flaxseeds, almonds, dates, spinach, bananas and blueberries. Or add oats.

    You just keep doing you!

    Confused by your comment?

I do work from home, so while working, I'll have youtube videos running on another display. Not sure what your comment meant.

Hey, I made a good recipe this morning with my nutri bullet, I also have 5 kids so I know the struggle and I have opted for smoothies as well.

2 kiwi, half avocado, 1 cup packed spinach, 1.5 cup coconut milk, 1 cup of ice, 2 tbsp honey, and 1 tbsp vanilla, it was really good! let me know what you think!

I look to Pinterest for recipes for smoothies and smoothie packs. There are tons!

You can add chia seeds, handful of almonds or do some that are made with oatmeal. :)
