IF & Workouts

Hello! I am new to intermittent fasting and was wondering what a good schedule would look like. During the week, I workout around 7 PM and in the morning on the weekends. How important is it to be fasted while working out? There’s no way for me to workout in the morning before work during the week. I am also a little worried about working out fasted on the weekends. Any tips? I use BCAAs during my workout now. Will those help to get me through a fasted workout?

    There is no scientific proof that supports any additional benefits from fasted workouts iirc. The biggest benefit to IF is that it helps people maintain a deficit by limiting their eating window/how many meals and snacks they can have a day due to that narrower window. Eating before or after your workouts won't make a difference, except perhaps if you are too weak from not eating to work out intensely, or too full from eating to work out intensely.
