Sodium content in recipes

I am finding that the calculation of sodium per serving in many of my recipes is miscalculated. I cut down much of the salt used and yet it seems to cause my intake to be way over. Has anyone else found this.

    Look at the entries you're using to create the recipe...it's calculating it based on your entries.

    Do you use a lot of processed goods in your recipes...cans of soup, stock, tomatoes, beans, etc...all of those things have a lot of sodium to preserve shelf life.
