Hi
I’m 47, have been on here before. Had an knee injury and couldn’t run. Was very sad about it. Started to gain back all my weight. Well I’m looking to get back on track again, but it seems like I’m having a hard time getting going on it. So any help would be great,

The first covers accurate logging and some of the tools in MFP to help you make things easier. The second discusses caloric needs and setting goals. These two posts completely changed my MFP experience and helped me be much more successful, so I hope they do the same for you.

Similar experience to you. Had to stop training for a year and put the weight back on. Took my time starting again as it was so frustrating to realise how much ground I had lost in terms of fitness. However I did start back in January. Starting is the hardest part of it, especially the first couple of weeks. Now I am 3 months in and things are going well. I'm back into my old routines and am both thinner and fitter. It feels great. You can do it! Best of luck0
