Hello, just needing to vent haven't been feeling well and my diet the past two weeks has a lot to be desired. Also, a type 2 diabetic has been bingeing on all of the bad stuff. it seems that I am a carb hog and a sugar hog. Can't talk to anyone around here don't believe they would understand.

Thanks

Demonizing foods you like makes you crave them like crazy, feelings of restraint can lead to resentment which can give you a need for rebellion, a feeling of loss brings forth a need for comfort, and feeling out of control can make you feel like you're a bad person, and also blame everything and everybody.

If you just need to vent, that's okay, but if you want to improve your diet, plan meals you can and want to eat, and practice gratitude. I'm sure you too have things to be thankful for.

Well it helps if you can get your mind in a good place. Then you can work on you. There are lots of people with diabetes on here and many will support you if you ask. Get your eating under control. Weigh and measure everything you eat and drink. Get a digital food scale if you don't have one. Stay within your calories everyday even if you eat carbs and sugar. Try to exercise a little to start--even walking is good. Exercise will help you feel better about yourself. Good luck.
