I can't sync my Health app?

I went to [apps & devices] tab and im trying to connect my Health app to MyFitnessPal but it doesn't let me.I followed the steps that i was given.I turned on sources & allowed MyFitness to acess my categories but it still shows on,MyFitness that no apps are connected or synced.How do i sync these 2 apps???
