Losing post-partum weight! Just getting started

Hi everyone,
I woke up this morning and honestly just realized how much weight and fat I’ve gained. I’ve been through three pregnancies the last four years, living in stretchy maternity clothes and not bothering much about my weight on the scale, and it’s just now hitting me that the extra 30 pounds isn’t going anywhere without some effort. I was always naturally thin and fit through being really active and preferring healthy foods so I’ve never needed to watch what I ate, but I guess I need to start (kind of picked up an ice cream binge habit!). Hopefully MFP app will help with that!

Would love to make friends to share tips and struggles with, because I really am feeling down on my self-image and also don’t have real idea where to start!

I'm 30 weeks pregnant with my third kid, so I'll be in your same boat very soon! I go to the gym every day and eat right as best I can, but some weight gain is inevitable.

I’m not sure how to add friends but j_skwerl and anyone else feel free to add me as well!

I was so exhausted my last pregnancy I moved as little as possible all the last six months, never mind I never found a single spare time for sports or exercise with two kids already, so I know I’m so out of shape in addition to being much heavier. Still can’t do much with the three now besides take them all out for walks as long as they will cooperate, so I need all the motivation I can to stick to eating a bit less, I guess, until I can exercise again too! In like a million years, haha. Anyway nice to hear from others in the same. :)
