I know this comes up alot, but I calculated my bmr which is supposedly 2000, and then added in my activity level which brought the number too 2700 calories to maintain. I am 5 foot 11 and wiegh about 205 lbs. based on these numbers should I assume then I can eat up to 2000 calories a day and still loose wieght ? to me that seems like a ton.

if that is the suggestion that has been given for weight loss try it for 4 to 6 weeks and monitor your weight (up down the same) and then you can amend from there. are you loosing more than expected, eat more or if you arent loosing take the calories down by 100 or so.0

Ton high? or ton low?
It looks a bit low to me, But I don't know the particulars of your activity or activity level.
IF the 2700 number is right, you'll lose in the 1700-2200 range(at 1-2 lbs per week)0
