Root Canal. :(

So I had a toothache. Went to the dentist. They had to do a root canal. Now the tooth hurts more than it did in the first place!!! But the good news is: I've had to live on soup, smoothies, diet ginger ale and coffee all week and lost 2.5 lbs!!!! YAY!! I think tonight though, I may add in a martini or two. No olives. Ow...

    Wow. Thanks guys. Never had one before - so I thought the pain was a normal byproduct. Will call my torturer, I mean, dentist ;)

    I congratulate you both on your weight loss and your survival this far.

    I heard this week of the death of a former co-worker at the age of 51 due to complications from the same root cause, dental neglect. Remember to get your check-ups.

    Owchie.
    They always hurt me for a couple days, mainly from shots and sore jaw. Generally feels better after a couple days. But if it's throbbing, sorer at or under the actual tooth site (instead of generalized or where shots/tools made gums tender and sore) or you are running a fever, you need to get it looked at again.
