Amount of protein in some food

I started counting my calories in macros just 2 months ago. And I’m just surprised by how much protein some of the food have. Like chicken breast 8oz has approximately 60-70g of protein and then 1/4cup of uncooked rice has 35g of carbs. These two food is basically what I eat everyday before I started counting calories for my cutting. Anyway, anyone else surprised by how much protein or carbs the food that you usually eat have?
