I’m not sure whether the pictures have uploaded properly. *HAD TO EDIT CAUSE ITS ONE OF THEM DAYS!*
I’ve never entered anything into MFP before.
Would I enter it based on he whole weight or per 100/250grams worth?

What are you having difficulty with? It gives you nutritional info on the label

I don’t even know why I wrote it out like that?! Been a long day. I want to be able to track it. It doesn’t come up on the site.
Do I put it in based on 100g ?
I’ve never had to enter something manually. And I’m not (obviously) thinking straight!

since the info is given based on 100g that is what I would use. all the macros are given on the label based on 100g

You enter what you eat, so you can enter as much as you like (264g =2.64 x 100g serves) .... Although the nutrition info is for raw weight, you may want to weigh before and after, or find a cooked entry.

Ok thank you. I always rely on someone else putting all this info into the system lol!

You could probably find an entry with the same (or similar) information..... It's just meat!

Because your calorie deficit is already figured in without added exercise.

May I confirm that you've actually weighed the product you will be inputting? If you use a full 'portion', and it says 100g, make sure it is actually 100g with a scale. Lots of packages can be under or over (more likely over, from what I've found).

Hi girl, this should be made a separate thread. Go click the create button on the main page of the forum and you'll likely get some answers very soon :)

To answer your question: The calorie amount set is what you would be losing weight on if you were just doing your normal activities, if you work out and burn more than that you get to eat extra :)

You are expected to at least eat back some of your exercise calories.

Example... Say I'm eating 1600 calories to maintain my weight (I'm petite af now and am 5'2").

I eat my 1600 calories to maintain, and had a regular day for my activity level, so should be good. But, I decide to hit the gym a bit after dinner because why not, and this is just an example.

I hit the weight machines pretty well, and burn about 250 calories.

My net calories are now 1350 for the day. Oh no, I didn't want to work on losing weight! I wanted to maintain and just be a bit more fit!

I'd eat back a portion of those calories. Most recommend eating half of the estimated calories burned back due to overestimation on 'Calories Burned' on the machines/websites/etc. In this case, I'd only eat back 100-150 calories, a light snack, to put me closer to my goal of maintaining.

    Edit;
In the case of losing weight, and not maintaining, I should add that it is also to prevent you from going below a healthy amount of calories. If I was my previous self, only eating 1200 so that I could lose weight (so short), and worked off an extra estimated 250 calories... I'd need to eat some of that back. 1200 calories is the minimum recommended for women, but my net would have been 950 otherwise. Yipes! Not a very healthy way of losing weight.

I ended up slicing it into 100gram portions, all weighed up using scales.
