    Trying to incorporate rope jumping on my days off from weight lifting ... Am I overtraining or not providing enough rest to my leg muscles with adding in the rope jumping?

    I rather like jump rope but I have a little bladder leakage problem every time I try..... Lol Can't use a trampoline either!
    Doesn't happen when I'm running.

    I started jump rope for the cardio - high intensity interval type training and found it does also really burn the calories. It's not nearly as bad on my old knees as running either, another reason I took it up. I enjoy it, but it is slow going at first - my body put up a protest. :smiley:
