    Take it a day at a time and make them count.

    Aim for 1.5lb -2lbs max a week for the first 20lbs then aim for 1-1.5lb a week after that. The aim is to hold onto as much muscle as possible when losing fat. Slow loss helps with that.

    Also now is a good time to start the habit of working out. Even just walking. Moving more will help with your weight loss.

    Do not implement anything you don't see yourself doing for life!

    Ask lots of questions. Find a solid core group of people who inspire you and who will be inspired by you.

    Weight management is an output of behavior.
