Hi everyone,

I just started carb cycling and I'm looking for high-protein foods to eat during my low-carb days. I seem to have trouble getting enough protein on these days!

Here are the ones I found so far:
- String Cheese or low-fat cheese
- Eggs
- Meat (lean if possible)
- Fish and seafood
- Nuts
- Cottage Cheese
- Greek Yogurt

Any other ideas? I've also found some protein water on Amazon and will try some for days when I can't seem to reach my protein goal, but I'm kinda at a loss for other ideas!

Thanks in advance :)

I'd remove nuts from the list (great for fat, not so good for protein) and add protein powder.

    Also tofu, seitan...

If you're trying to Lo-Carb, Fat is not your enemy.

how much protein are you aiming for a day? (I do a fixed 145g)

What amount of protein are you aiming for? That list is pretty good (minus the nuts which are more fat source as mentioned), just increase the portions of each or add a protein powder if you need.

Thanks everyone :) My goal is around 160 grams. You're right about the fat, though, I should not worry about it on my low-carb days ;-)
