Does this happen to anyone else? I'm actually up .6 pounds after lifting yesterday evening. Doesn't happen when I do cardio, only lifting. Just hoping I'm not the only one.
I don't have a whole ton to lose and the weight always comes off VERY slooowwww....so just wondering.

Yes this is normal.. water retention in the muscles for repair. I actually gain 2-3lbs when I lift regularly that stays unless I take a break.2

This happens to almost everyone. Water weight pulled into the muscle tissue for repair. Also, .6 of a lb could be anything. It's not a variable worth worrying about. You weight won't be the same everyday for a variety reasons, food transit, water weight, sodium etc. In the last week my weight has fluctuated as much as 5 lbs. What is important is a trend over time.2

perfectly normal. even happens with cardio. or yardwork. or anything that makes your muscles have need for repair0

My scale is up or down every day. It's normal and nothing to be concerned about.1

Normal.
Not only that, but it's a normal variation. I put on about 3 lb of water weight as of yesterday. This morning? Back down to where I was a couple of days ago.2
