Breaking the "Routine" help

I started MFP back in December, and everything was going well up until April where I hit a plateau and stopped losing inches, weight, etc. May, June, July were pretty bad months, I had no motivation and even though I was still going to the gym I would leave my classes early or show up 30mins late. My routine consisted of 4 days weight training, and 3 days Zumba. My gym just came out with a new schedule and have added 3 new classes, 1 class is a kickboxing class, the other two are a mixture of cardio and weightlifting. I'm in the process of making a schedule for this month, and am trying to see which classes to take and on what days. I'm probably going to switch it up every week. Do you think this will help avoid any plateaus? What if I do one week cardio, next week weightlifting, and third week a mixture of cardio and weights? I'm so confused, and unmotivated. This is my second time around at this weightloss thing, I'm tired of staring at all the "new jeans" i bought that I was only able to wear for a few short months. :-(

I get off work at 5pm on a couple of the days I'm able to take two classes on the same day. (Is this even recommended? Or should I stick to one class a day?)

The classes offered are as follows.

Zumba (cardio) 5:30pm
Max Factor (Bootcamp style, Weight training, HIT) 6:30pm
Sports Conditioning (cardio / weightlifting) 5:30pm
Fat Burning (Cardio & Body Sculpting Class) 6:30pm
Kickboxing 6:30pm

    Hey Sis,

I can't tell you whats going to work for you, when it comes to the plateau. What I will do is tell you what worked for me in the beginning and now as well. I am an avid zumbachica as well and still am. I do zumba four days a week. on those days that I do zumba, I would go an hour early and lift weights before zumba. Zumba was a way to loosen me up after the weights and also get the cardio in for maximum fat burning.

Another thing you might consider is that you might not be eating enough. If you are training that hard, then you need to up your caloric intake so that your body will do what its supposed to do. I can say that because I was that one that thought I could undereat and it would make me lose more weight. I was so wrong. I eat more now than I ever have and with better food choices have not hit a plateau.

Take a look at my food diary if you like and it will show you that i do eat at least five to six times a day and still come in under my calorie total after workouts. If you stay consistent, it will work.
