Trouble understanding

I always have calories left over but if I go to eat something It will make me go over something either carbs ,fat etc,I can never get alł my protein .If I eat something with protein to get more calories and more protein there is sure to be carbs or fat so either way I'm going to go over something.Any other people have this trouble?

    What are you eating for protein? If you choose something like a chicken breast or protein powder, it won't have much else. But, when losing weight is your focus, I'd worry more about finding what keeps you satisfied and at a deficit before worrying about macros.

    There is nothing wrong with being over your carbs, unless you've tweaked them it's just because that's the way the default settings are set up. As long as you have you minimum protein and fat in and you're hitting your calorie goal I wouldn't worry too much about the rest.

    I think you will find that many people here, myself included, supplement our protein intake with a protein shake. I use unsweetened almond milk and while it has some carbs it is not that much.

    Unless you are eating mostly saturated fat and most of your carbs are coming from sweets and drinks I would not worry about going over as long as you are at your calorie goals.

    Your macro goals are just a guide. It's no big deal if you are over or under from one day to the next. Many here look at the MFP protein and fat goals as minimums they try to exceed, and let carbs fall where they may.

    If your goal is weight loss or gain, calories are priority #1. Macros are at best a secondary concern. :drinker:
