So I logged 120 minutes of "cleaning, light to moderate" since I spent 2 hours vacuuming, going through kids clothes/ toys, bagging up, trip to the dumpster, dusting, etc. And it gave me like 400 calories burned!? Is that even remotely accurate? Btw I'm 5'7", 201lbs, 37 years old... all of which is in MFP profile.

I wouldn’t log that, as it’s already included in your chosen activity level. A heavier cleaning, possibly.

At the moment, I usually have one heavier housework day a week. The rest just maintenance work. I don't count it as if I had done it bit by bit during the week it would have just been normal activity.

If you feel like it, give yourself a small treat, 100-200 cal, for a job well done.

    Cheers, h.
