BMF and Barre, anyone?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has tracked their barre workouts (either class or dvd) with a bodymedia fit device?

The reason I ask is: I wore mine to class the other day in the side of my sports bra and then came home, synced, and found that hour to come out to 115 calories. That said, I hadn't worn my BMF in several months and I'm not sure if I have to wear it for a while again before it gets more accurate, like in the beginning. My heart rate monitor said 350...

So, if you have worn or wear your BMF during this, I am curious as to what kind of readings you're getting?

Thanks

I have done Physique 57 and my HRM said I was around 200-220 calories for 57 minutes. Not always the greatest tool for workouts that aren't cardio based.

Are you referring to the HRM or the BMF as not the greatest tool for non-cardio activities... I assume HRM? It's frustrating to track because the class I go to has cardio elements dispersed throughout, however there are sections where we move very little.

    Thanks for responding!

Correct, the HRM. I do not have a BMF only a Jawbone.
