Hi I’m Cullen and I’d like to meet and talk about everyone’s fitness journeys!

In the year 2017 I pretty much lived in a hotel. I was States away from home remodeling a hotel in Minnesota. I lived off fast food and anything I could fit into a mini fridge. I gained weight FAST! I’ve been thin my whole life, but things change.

When I started, at the beginning of the year, I weighed right at 200 pounds. And when the job site was completed, right before Christmas, I had weighed in at 247 pounds! I had gained 47 pounds in 1 year! Even being 6’3 I had still noticeably gained weight.

My confidence hit an all time low and I was very depressed. But I remember seeing a picture of me taken on Christmas and I decided to fast. I spent the next 5 days having only a gallon of water a day and having absolutely nothing to eat. It was VERY difficult but I pushed through it every day. On the 6th day I had to break the fast because my heart rate was beating at 130 bpm. At the end of those 5 days I had lost about 10 pounds.

But from Jan to the middle of March of 2018 I didn’t do anything, but managed to maintain my weight. I was tired of the way I looked without a shirt on and I wanted to change. That’s when I came across MyFitnessPal and it’s changed the way how I view my eating habits!

On March 15, I started Insanity Max 30 and I just finished Day 30 and man do I feel great! I’ve lost 12 pounds in one month and I now weigh 221. I’ve lost a total of 26 pounds since Christmas and I’m not stopping! My goal is to get back to 200 so I’m half way there. Once I hit that weight, the goal is to get back into the gym and start gaining muscle.
