Wild boar?

So I was at the grocery store and saw a little piece of meat labeled “wild boar mini-roast”. After looking at the nutrition info, it might be the lowest calorie non-fish protein I’ve ever seen. 120 cals/4 oz, 1.5g fat, 25g protein....but I have no idea how to cook it. I was thinking salt/pepper, pan sear, put it in the oven at 350-400 until done.
Does anyone have any experience cooking wild boar? Is it gamey? Do any flavors go well with it? Any cooking suggestions?

It's basically just lean pork. Be careful not to overcook it.
May need a sauce if too dry or if it tastes gamey.

It can carry parasites so cook fully.1

I haven't cooked it but I've eaten it, it's incredible. Searing and then maybe making a ragu in the crock pot might be a good way to go, that's what I'm going to do should I ever get my hands on it.1
