I eat marks and Spencer’s balances for you meals for lunch at work as I don’t have much time to food prep as I work in the nhs shift work. Will this stop me loosing weight? The meals are all 400 cals and under

Do they fit in to your food and calorie goal for the day? If so, how would they stop you losing weight?

That someone prepped your food in a factory instead of you prepping your food in your kitchen in the same way would make precisely what difference?

i dont eat much in the way of preprocessed foods, but thats a personal choice. as long as it fits within your calorie goals, its not a problem.

Here in the US packaged nutrition info can be off by a lot (20% legally, sometimes more). That's the main issue with processed food - you don't know how much you're eating exactly.

But if you adjust your calories if you're not losing, you'll be fine.

How do you think weight loss works? Do you think you can only eat unprocessed healthy foods? The fact you mention how many calories are in the meals means you know that matters, so what about a ready meal makes you think it will stop you losing weight?

Yes. It will work just fine if they fit in your calorie allowance for the day. I eat frozen meals for lunch quite often. Easy and some of them are very yummy.
