I do use MFP which is why im here. but they low ball marcos to 1200 which for someone who trains is not healthy.

That's debatable. The guidance could have been better, but you get 1200 calories if you select an unhealthy weightloss rate.

The other calculations would have exercise already included. With MFP it is expected that you eat 1200 plus your calories burnt while exercising.

Do you know your maintenance calories?
How much are you planning to lose and how fast?
Are you planning to increase cardio?

I think the MFP calculations are often very far off, possibly because people choose the wrong levels for activity and goals, but just an observation. If you train and you haven't done any extreme diets which has lowered your metabolism I woul'd rather go with Guzman's numbers first and then adjust down by reducing carbs if you don't lose the desired amount of weight after a few weeks.

You got 1200 because you chose too steep of a goal. If you chose 2 lbs, try 1.5, 1, or even 0.5. Keep in mind that this is the NET intake MFP wants you to eat. Any exercise you do gets added and your calories go up (for example, I'm set to 1450 calories to lose 1 lb a week, and when I exercise 350 calories worth MFP wants me to eat 1800).
