Hello everyone,
Just thought I’d provide you with some tips that I am currently finding quite helpful:
• Always keep a cup/bottle of water within arms reach helps me to keep up the water intake (which is a big help in losing weight)
• Listening to music while exercising keeps me going.
• Put my headphones in and listen to music if I get cravings for the bad foods, I’ll sit and feel emotions to the music rather than paying attention to the cravings.
• Do not listen to music that will make me feel sad because it will dampen my mood and I’ll feel too down to move.
• Always have more healthy food in sight, fruit bowl on the table with a variety of fruit to choose from and maybe some hummus and cucumber in the fridge. I’ll cut up cucumber or carrots into sticks to snack on.
• Never feel guilty if you’re wasting food by not finishing what’s on your plate or not finishing what’s left on your child’s plate, I used to eat my sons left overs all the time. Not any more!!
• Be positive!!
• Stay happy!!!
• Keep moving, even if it’s slow.. you’ll still be doing laps around the person sitting on the couch.
I really hope this helps some of you and that you reach your goal! Don’t rush yourself and don’t deprive yourself. Keep at a reasonable pace that suits YOU! Good luck!
