Help encourage me to get to my goals, please add me!

Hi, new to this and looking for people to add me. I really could use some motivation and any helpful tips you may have to share. I have quite a bit to lose 70 pounds to be exact. I’m 5’6 and weigh 216 ugh! I’ve set my goal to lose 1.5 pounds a week. Is that a good place to start? Also it seems that my garmin is giving me so many calories with regular walking. How many calories do most people burn walking 12,000 steps daily? This doesn’t involve my workout routine but it’s giving me what appears to be a lot more than I think is deserved. Please help

    Me too! I just started! And girl don't feel bad, I'm 5"2' and weigh 213. We'll do it together.

    I’m always impressed with the ‘bonus calories’ from steps! I did tend to use them a lot of the time and always lost 2lb a week.

    Until I gained most of it back and came back on here....
