New to the MFP Community

I have used the MFP app for a while now but never dipped into the community section. Partly out of fear, partly out of shame but not anymore. I have here and hitting this lifestyle change head on. I will be 36 in July and have about 170lbs to lose to get to my goal weight and even my goal weight is probably still to heavy but for now going from 330lbs to 165lbs is a feat in itself. I am taking baby steps and have been making small changes to my diet over the last few weeks. I started at 337. I have not hit the gym yet but will be going to look at one this week. Hopefully I will feel comfortable there and make it my gym home for a while. I will get there one step at a time and will not be defeated as I have in the past. Looking for all the support/tips I can get.

I really like baby steps. Makes it more manageable. I'm trying to lose 100 pounds. We can do it.1

Sounds like you have a good plan in place. Feel free to give me any of that weight you're losing. I need to gain about 50 lbs of muscle0
