See a Difference?

I started MFP in April 2011. I was 235. I got down to 179 the lowest. Right now I am at 192. It is odd because January 1 I was 182. Every time I got a workout in I would be a little heavier than the weight, which I figured was water, never came off. I maintained 182 for a while, but after my first kid in 2014 exercising 5x a week went to 4x a week. Then my second child was born in December 2016 and 4x a week went to 2x-3x and then in November switched to whenever I could get a workout in. Once my wife went back to work from an injury it was basically (since November 2017) here and there.
I also have spinal stenosis in the back and fibromyalgia that, if acting up, prevents workouts. The fibro I can handle, but the back has made exercise difficult. Once I start the back tightens and it causes radiating tightness down my legs, thighs, and hamstrings which requires constant stopping. I have seen a lot of doctor's lately, but only option seems to be a surgery that is successful 60% of the time and in some people has made the pain worse. I am 35 so they are telling me to wait on surgery for a while.
I am posting these two pics because one is from right before I ended up really having to decrease my workouts to a point of nonexistence. The other was taken today since I am in the same office and wearing a similar shirt. I figured I would get an honest answer on here rather than ask people I know. Since I usually see weight gain in my face first, besides looking extremely tired and ready to fall asleep on my desk, is there a different from the first pic to the second?
I am not OCD, but am definitely a numbers guy so when I see any number on the scale go up in my mind I see myself differently in pictures and the mirror.

This may help more. I found a pic of April 2015 when I was around 184 and the 2018 is from April 2018. This would have made much sense from the beginning.
