I started this fasting method were you don’t eat for 36hrs but drink water. Now, I started at 9pm yesterday and it’s 5pm. I have went to the gym for 3 1/2 hrs , Already lost 3lbs, which I am happy about. I might lose more lbs but I have to wait to see my final result. If I like the results might do it more often, but not over doing it.

Congratulations on your water weight loss.31

You lost mostly water, and also have less food weight in your system. Once you start eating again, most of that is going to come back.6

Yup, which seems pretty unlikely.4 -
You are already overdoing it by not eating then exercising for 3 1/2 hrs.7

Why on earth are you working out for over 3 hours??? Especially during a fast! You don't need to run yourself into the ground to lose weight6

I'm guessing because the interwebs told her that's how to lose weight fast
OP - we all get your excitement at seeing a big drop on the scales, but we also know it will be accompanied by disappointment when you go back to eating properly and the scale goes up again, because most of what you lost isn't fat. The kind of disappointment that makes people throw the towel in and give up on any weight loss effort.
Set MFP to a sustainable rate of weekly weight loss (1 lb, unless you have a significant, ie over 100 lb, amount to lose), eat the calories MFP gives you, plus 50-75% of any calories burned through exercise. Do that for 4-6 weeks, track your weight loss using a trending weight app to smooth out daily fluctuations (normal), and then reassess.7
