Another Macro Question

Hello,
I was looking into protein as I always go above what MFP gave me
Im 27 Male weigh 215 Work Out (Cardio+Strength) about 3 days a week

IIFYM and MFP are completely different ;
IIFYM : C/F/P = 30/20/50 2150 Cal
MFP: C/F/P = 66/16/18 1440 Cal

1.not sure which to follow
2. Do i not need more than 54g protein a day that MFP suggests?
3. Isnt 2150Cal Suggested by IIFYM not too much? also 289g Carbs a day?

    Personally I would go by IIFYM. If nothing else, change your macro % to something that gives you more protein (possibly more fat, I don't remember the defaults) and less carbs. 54g of protein is not enough in a day.

    ETA: just saw that you gave the defaults. I would up the protein to at least 30% and bump the carbs down to 40% at most.

    Many go by .7 - 1.2 grams of protein per pound of body weight
    .4 grams of fat per pound of body weight
    remainder of calories from carbs

    *carbs and protein have 4 calories per gram, fat has 9 calories per gram
