Hello everyone,

This is my second time doing tho since starting this app in December of 2017. I have lost 40 lbs in 3 months and have been staying at a plateau for for a month or two in losing weight. Now that I have lost an additional 6 lbs. I feel renewed by getting back on't he groove of things and I feel great so I feel it's time I do another one of these things.

My name is Robert, I'm 25, I'm going to school to become a police officer and get my degrees in criminal justice, homeland security and a business degree. I love my dog Shadow he is a Norwegian Elkhound, he is also my Emotional Support Animal for my OCD.

I love hockey and the Red Wings, I also love my 2016 F150 Lariat 5.0 Special Edition truck lol. I have sleeves (tattoos) one side is law enforcement themed and the other is nature featuring tigers, wolves, eagles, bears, etc...

Enough of me really, I just want to say, don't give up on what you're doing. The minute you give up is the second you lose. Do not fall to repetition, and doing the same old thing over and over. That's what made me plateau and stop for a little while. Spice things up, stop yourself before boredom and repetition get to you. Grab life by the horns, and make it your ____!

Thanks for reading everyone!❤

Once upon a time the local PD was recruiting for "Citizens Patrol" volunteers. In that effort, they invited citizens to participate in a 12-week series of presentations in which the local PD showed citizens what police work was all about. I participated as an interested citizen. One of the presentations covered police hiring and personnel needs.
One questioner asked if a CJ degree was an advantage in hiring. The officer said, "No".

This is not intended to blunt your enthusiasm. Rather, I encourage you to pursue your dream. The CJ degree, however, is not an advantage.

Hi Jerome! Sorry for the late reply! That's great you participated in the program! However, you get an automatic raise having a degree. Literally in one or 2 years of working, with that raise, I would pay off my degree right then and there. Here's the thing though too, I would also will be able to get my homeland security degree by taking only 7 more classes. You didn't curb my enthusiasm haha, you just didn't know i would get a 10% pay raise just for having a degree haha. No worries my friend:)
