Feeling cooler in hot weather

Are you enjoying this lovely burst of Spring warmth and sunshine? Having lost over 2 stone, I noticed that I found yesterday's high heat much more comfortable to bear than before I lost weight. It's lovely when you come across an unexpected benefit of getting healthier isn't it? Would love to hear any other unexpected benefits you have experienced.

I love the warmth. I'm like a lizard. I just couldn't bear living in a cold climate. B) Not sure if that's due to a lower body fat content or just a preference. Maybe a little bit of both.

Haven't had any unexpected or surprising benefits, because I knew being fit and healthy was going to feel better. Most of us expect to look better. Many expect to improve their health, too. But I've also just really appreciated the less celebrated, but equally pleasant side effects of having more energy and feeling more confident and optimistic about life in general. So many benefits beyond the cosmetic. <3

I never went outside when I weighed more (because I'd rather watch tv) so I wouldn't know.

Altho I do get cold easily now.

Yes!! It’s been gorgeous! Much more comfortable, I agree. I’d have been a clammy, red mess in the past but this time I wore a light cardigan and felt great!
(Looking forward to the thunderstorms today!).
