Rest of day eating around an estimated meal

hey everyone ! i’ve had a hankering for authentic, hole-in-the-wall italian joint lasagna. living in north jersey, there’s no shortage of amazing italian places so i decided i’m gonna go for it on sunday.
considering i’m using an estimated entry on mfp, do you still go about your daily planned/aim to hit your remaining macros after what the estimated entry leaves you? or do you just eat on the lighter side?
for example, after putting in the lasagna entry, i still have a decent amount of carbs left but i can’t help for it to feel “wrong” to eat my planned sweet potatoes so i can reach my carb goal when i know i’m eating estimated carbs at dinner.
overthinking? probably. but just curious how you guys work around an estimate meal.
thanks!

I agree with Deannalfisher, one day won't hurt you. Just don't make a practice of it! LOL I usually try to overestimate the unknown dish and then eat the rest of the day trying to keep it near normal, but sometimes with high calorie foods you probably should try and eat your macros just for the nutrition value.1
