I made this today and I’m curious if anyone knows how healthy this is/the benefits for weight loss
Protein shake: 1 cup of black coffee, 1 scoop of vanilla Vega protein powder, 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk, and 1 banana

Weight loss is all about calories, so that's good for weight loss if it fits in your calorie goal

Health really applies to a whole diet, not individual foods. I don't see anything unhealthy about that shake, but that's kind of meaningless without the context of what else you're eating and how it makes you feel

What do you mean by healthy?

Weight loss is going to be a result of a calorie deficit over time. If that shake fits into your calorie goals, keeps you satisfied and in a deficit.. sure.

If you are eating that plus extra calories to put you at maintenance/surplus then maybe it isn't a great choice for you or you will have to modify the rest of your diet to accommodate it.

Bananas sometimes give me abdominal cramps so that wouldn't be healthy for me. But who knows, it could meet your goals and not give you cramps and therefore be perfectly healthy for you.

Why would you consume anything you might think is unhealthy if 'healthy' is what you are going for?

If you are trying to lose weight and this fit in your calorie allotment, you are still on point with weight loss. A calorie deficit at the end of day/week is how you lose weight, food choices are individual.

"Healthy" is relative and depends on what else you eat throughout the day. If that is all you mean to have, then no, it isn't healthy.
