My name is Carlos and I’m 54 I live in Miami-Beach Florida. I stopped smoking and started walking on March 31, 2018 I’m settling into a walking routine and watching my calories intake to about 1200 under 1700 I have lost 10lb so far and can’t wait to pick up the pace.

1200 calories, thats pretty low. You shouldn't go below your BMR, that is starvation and you will be losing muscle. When you are losing weight you should try to save as much muscle as you can.0
