I like Dave's, it's yummy and it's an employee-owned company. BUT come on - it's $5 per loaf. That's five loaves of Orowheat. You guys must be made of money.

Actually, it doesn't cost that much here...they even put it on sale, 2 for 5 buckaroos. I throw it in the freezer and pop off a few slices with a chisel.

Well its also 120-140 per two slices which isn't really the 100 calories per sandwich OP is looking for.

Thank you all for this discussion! My mother is hooked on thins because she likes the crunch and Dave's killer bread just doesn't do it for her! You will have MADE her day. She has been all over Seattle looking for her old 100 calorie thins.
