Sherpa Tea

So I'm in love with the way that Sherpa's eat. I am dying to make Sherpa (butter) tea but I'm unable to get yak butter in my area. I don't usually have dairy products and stick to Cashew milk. Not sure it will come out the same.. Has anyone made this? any ideas as to what I might be able to use as a suitable alternative to regular milk? Thank you!
