Activity level

Do you consider 10,000 steps a day lightly active? I’m having a hard time figuring out which activity level to choose on MFP.

If those are from your regular daily activities, that probably is lightly active. Don't feel like you have to overthink the activity level -- you can pick one, monitor your results for a few weeks, and then change it if you find you are losing more or less per week than you expected.

A day that includes 10k steps (that are not logged as a separate activity) would create a caloric expenditure commensurate with being classified as Active for most people.

Whether your long-term results will bore this out depends on your food logging and also depends on whether you are close to the mean or an outlier when it comes to these calculations.

The usual thing to do is to compare your expected weight change based on your caloric balance over 4 to 6 weeks to your actual weight trend during that same time frame and adjust based on your actual results.
