Any kind of protein? Yogurt, beans, nuts, poultry, fish, meats all have the same effect?1

Pork for some reason bloats me for around 8 hrs. I just try to avoid it now because the discomfort is so bad, its not worth it.0

It’s mainly just nuts and protein powder. I need the powder tho, b/c I can’t get enough protein in my normal diet. Also just eating a lot of protein and having it sit like a rock in my tummy isn’t a great feeling (although I can’t say I am very hungry at all, so I guess that’s the point).0 -
I read excess protein makes smelly farts/poop. If it is excess, maybe cut back? Probiotics might help.0

Whey protein powder sets off my lactose intolerance something awful. Worst bloat ever. Took me a while to figure out what it was.
Make sure you’re having the kind of protein powder that is friendly to your system.0 -

Nuts are more of a fat source. They can cause digestive upset in some people.
If you have an intolerance to dairy, using a WPC or a blend with WPC can cause issues. Some people are affected by the sweeteners too...0 -

WPC?
Whey protein concentrate, as opposed to WPI (isolate). WPC still has lactose, whereas WPI technically doesn't (very minimal amounts if any)1 -
What is "lots of protein"?0

30+g at a meal0

Are you consuming Whey protein along side other higher protein foods? Protein does provide satiety for many people this is why you are feeling fuller longer.
Maybe try to split this into a couple of servings?
Could you be mixing your whey with ingredients that might not be settling well to your stomach?
Have you tried a different brand?
Experiment a little.0
