A bit disappointed in myself.

I've been staying at my dads for a few day's and came home tonight. I got the bus with my guitar, amp and 4 days worth of clothes, I also walked to a further bus stop and got off a stop early.

Well anyway a girl, about 20 years old got on the bus. She was about a size 20. She must of been on the bus 2 minutes and got off after 3 stops. I thought to myself you lazy person, no wonder you're fat.

Its made me realise that I've started looking down at bigger people. When I shouldn't. I feel really disappointed in myself

Maybe she realized she forgot something and had to turn around. Never assume without knowing the whole story.

ow your honest and judgemental..how do you know she didn't just start a weight loss program? You don't. So I recommend letting God judge her and you stay in your own bubble of Unicorns and Snowflakes

Good for you for recognizing your flaws. I struggle with similar issues at time.

This. The people who are giving you a hard time about this are liars if they are trying to imply they have never judged anyone unfairly themselves. We all do it. Congratulations though for realizing you did it, and for feeling bad about it. That's the first step toward bettering yourself.

I can honestly say I used to do it a lot, and after a few months of catching myself and reminding myself to not be so harsh, I have found I don't do it nearly as often. You can change! Good luck!

And as long as you keep your judgements for yourself too...

I always get super judgemental about people everytime I try to get back on track. Seems like I never can stop the stream of opinions about everyone around me, so I just shut up altogether. I mean, I'm pretty sure people make assumptions about me when I'm overweight and just don't tell me. I'm fine with it.

Treat others the way you want to be treated. I am glad you are recognizing that and working on it....it is a work in progress for most people, we will never be perfect.

To be fair, fat or skinny, 3 stops is kinda lazy for anyone... unless there is a good reason, like if its really cold, or it's after dark, or she's late for something and the bus just happened to pass by at the right time so she jumped on, these are all reasonable scenarios that one may take a bus for 3 stops. The problem is assuming that it has something to do with her being overweight, it could have been anyone, really. But good on you to realise the assumption you made.

So you're not perfect. Nobody is. Don't beat yourself up over it.

Yeah but you recognized it... pretty much everyone judges... maybe some voice it less than others. I know one of my friends thought it was really lazy when people drive to their mailbox - I drive right past my mailbox as I leave my apartment so I stop and get my mail because it saves time - that little walk does nothing for me. If I'm taking the garbage out or something I will just walk over. Makes ya think sometimes.
