I've heard doing planks are one of the best ways to strengthen your lower back and core. What are some other exercises to help stabilize my lower back.

Planks are excellent for core, back, legs, arms, everything! You can do high planks, low planks, side planks, raised arm/leg planks... lots of options. They're a great exercise to add to your daily routine.
Squats and deadlifts are also great for the whole body.0 -
kneeling super man: get on your hands and knees, engage your abs and slowly lift one arm and the opposite leg. Return to the starting position and repeat, alternating sides.0

Planks are great. There are so many challenging variations. I have a plank challenge app on my phone that I use almost daily.0

The word "stabilize" makes me think you may be talking about injury recovery or an inherent problem in this area? If that is the case you may want a good physical therapist who can evaluate and prescribe specifically for you.3
