Would like to know if everyone eats their allotted amount of calories per day- example - mine is 1400—->
(PLUS- 700-1000 in exercise calories per day)
I feel fine and I’m not hungry or anything— today was about 1050 or close to.. but should I be eating closer to the 1400??? Exercise calories??
*im new to working out but am doing HIIT/Tabata each day for 60-90 min per day
Any comments/insight would be über appreciated

Most here on MFP recommend women eat a minimum of 1200 cal/day.
Most here also say that the MFP app overestimates calorie burn for exercise so they only eat back 50-75% of the calories and then track for several weeks to see if their weight is still trending in the direction they want. And then they just calorie intake accordingly.
You can search for this topic on MFP.....0 -

If your calories are set for 1400 and you're doing 60 to 90 minutes of high-intensity interval training (which is more than I believe is traditionally recommended for that kind of workout), you should be eating at least the 1400 and then more. I'd add 300 to 500 to the 1400, and adjust according to results.
Of course, all this assumes that your calorie counting is accurate, that you really are "'high-intensity," and that you gave MFP accurate information for your activity level and other stats when it calculated the 1400. In the end, it's always best to look at the calorie goal as a place to start, and adjust based on results (or adjust your tracking if the results seem off).1 -
If I'm extra hungry on training days I do eat a little more. Other than that? No.1

I don't count my exercise calories at all on any of my diary entries, what I do instead is have a cheat dinner twice a week, work out how many calories I am beyond my daily limit and then double that number and burn off that amount at the gym before I can cheat again.
My appetite has stayed the same, am losing roughly the same amount of weight each week and have noticed a substantial rise in my fitness levels too.

Your goal is 1400 + exercise calories, only on a non-exercise day would you only eat 1400.
If you are truly burning 1000 cals then you are effectively netting a disastrous 400.
That's simply not sustainable or healthy.
To directly answer your question yes I ate all my exercise calories whether losing or maintaining weight. The method works if you do it properly. It's also a good lesson for when you get to maintenance when you must account for your exercise.1 -
