Not so much what was on the bar, but the patience and confidence to grind this one out and get a successful 3rd attempt — even though not a platform PR.

Thank you! First time at a meet I really had to stay with it!

    125 lbs, Functional strength ftw!
Funny thing is, that all the "functional fit" guys all want to know from me how to increase their bench. :D

I love the arms and legs shaking and the body English behind it. Locking it out makes it all worth it.

I came into the meet injured and had about three weeks to retrain some of the strength I lost in the bench. I did okay, this was only 3 pounds under last meet PR. Sometimes, you have to do what you can, to get what you can.

I do 5 sets of 10 at 95 as part of an interval circuit. Haven't tried 1 rep max in over a year. It was 125 then. Now I'm waiting until I'm no longer in a deficit and move to recomp to try and to up my set weight. 6 more pounds fo lose then it's on.

I am thrilled to say I can bench 155. Took a while to work-up to it :)

I finally hit 50kg at 5 reps!!! I’m getting there slowly but steadily.

Started lifting four years ago, could hardly bench the 12 pound bar. Now I'm up to 70 pounds...60 yr old female, 105 pounds. I'm short lol

I only do sub maximal weight training so who knows. I've lifted heavier on platform, but here was my second single set at 315. I could of possibly tripled the first set and doubled this set if I wanted to get grindy. I'm probably in the area of 330-340lbs depending on the day.
