Nothing yet, just started lifting about a month ago. My trainer has me on machines and a few dumbbell exercises right now. We will be changing it up some this week maybe bench press is going to be part of the new routine.

Last time I tested 1RM was a few cycles ago and was 120lbs. My new training max will move up to 123 this week, so I would assume it has gone up since then

    Never enough.

1rm in the gym is 97.5. Bar speeds recently though point to maybe finally breaking through the 100 mark.

I'm gonna add that this is in kg, not lb.

Last good attempt in competition was 52.5 kg. I could have gone for 55 kg, but stayed conservative. I'm aiming for 60 kg for August.

Current 1RM is 175lbs with a body weight of 155lbs. I'm really trying to work my way up to 185lbs

Not so much what was on the bar, but the patience and confidence to grind this one out and get a successful 3rd attempt — even though not a platform PR.

Funny thing is, that all the "functional fit" guys all want to know from me how to increase their bench. :D

I love the arms and legs shaking and the body English behind it. Locking it out makes it all worth it.

I came into the meet injured and had about three weeks to retrain some of the strength I lost in the bench. I did okay, this was only 3 pounds under last meet PR. Sometimes, you have to do what you can, to get what you can.

I do 5 sets of 10 at 95 as part of an interval circuit. Haven't tried 1 rep max in over a year. It was 125 then. Now I'm waiting until I'm no longer in a deficit and move to recomp to try and to up my set weight. 6 more pounds fo lose then it's on.

I am thrilled to say I can bench 155. Took a while to work-up to it :)
